mashcore
what it is
Breakcore subgenre, defined by funny/cheesy samples atypical of the "serious" breakcore/IDM scene, deliberate use of clichés and a more happy, chaotic sound. The samples take up the entirety of the songs and are mixed together, thus the "mash" in the name. Started by Toecutter around 1999-2000, other early contributors include Sickboy, Maladroit, and Shitmat.
