vaportrap
what it is
Though it perhaps may never have existed if Blank Banshee had not tagged his albums as 'vaporwave' on Bandcamp, there is a very real and emerging style of hi-tech trap and hip-hop music that makes use of vaporwave imagery and musical textures. But as with vaporwave's leftfield nature, it tends to be much more inventive and experimental than typical trap or hip-hop, and certainly feels immediately vaporwave upon listening.
